Dear Visitor,

Thank you for visiting our website. Quest Behavioral Healthcare serves youth and adults experiencing a mental illness. Mental illnesses are disorders that affect a person’s thinking, mood, and/or behavior —and they can range from mild to severe. According to the National Institute on Mental Health, nearly one in five adults live with a mental illness.

A mental illness that interferes with a person’s life and ability to function is called a serious mental illness (SMI). With the right treatment, people with SMI can live productive and enjoyable lives.

At Quest Behavioral Healthcare our mission since 1972 has been to provide services with skill, compassion and dignity to persons experiencing mental illness. Specifically, Quest Behavioral Healthcare provides psychotherapy, medication administration and monitoring, recreation and occupational therapy, coordination of physical health services, and an array of other therapies and related services to its SMI clients.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (“NAMI“): “Just as diabetes is a disorder of the pancreas, a mental illness is a disorder of the brain that can make it difficult to cope with the ordinary demands of life.”  In recognition of the brain-based nature of mental disorders, at Quest Behavioral Healthcare we employ an integrated medical model to treat the client, one that embraces both physical health and mental health.

Our promise is that we will provide to each of our clients – based on the client’s specific mental disorder(s) – care that is person-centered, culturally competent, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented.
